Christmas Eve is Ireland's favourite night to socialise in the pub over the festive period.
According to an online poll by Vintners' Federation of Ireland (VFI), 73% of Irish people will visit the pub on Christmas Eve.
Close to 50% Irish people say it's their favourite night, followed by St Stephen's Day.
The poll also found that three quarters of us will visit the pub over the next week.
