Cassidy Proctor is the co-host of "Spencer's Neighborhood" and had been working in the 106.5 The Arch station in St. Louis, US whilst heavily pregnant.

Two weeks before her due date she went into early labour and because the baby was breach, needed a C-section. However, because her listeners had been on this journey with her for the last 9 months, she decided to take them all along to the labour ward via phone link.

Sleepy little man.

You can listen to Cassidy and her husband Jerry's big moment in the delivery room here, with her co-host Spencer Graves live in studio.

When asked if she was worried about broadcasting this moment she said, “The only part I was nervous about was bringing a child into the world, the part about putting it on the radio, I do that every day."

The listeners involvement didn't stop there either! They even helped the radio star pick out the name Jameson for her baby boy.
