The pooch winded up in a police station in New Jersey after she was spotted unaccompanied.
Officers charged the dog named Bean with "sneaking through yards".
They couldn't resist taking her mugshot, which went viral, with social media users cleverly calling it a 'pugshot'.
Don't worry though - Bean got off scot-free and was reunited with her owner.
