We've all been there. Clicking the 'add bag' option to a flight booking, and then being left a little devastated by how much it has added to your overall fare. N one likes doing it, and we'll pack our carry-on to the absolute brim before checking a bag in!
Step forward Matt Botten.
He decided to not bother with easyJet’s £45 (€57) charge to check in an extra bag for his flight to Reykjavik (Iceland) by wearing all his clothes.
According to Metro: He was at Gatwick Airport when he faced paying the extra cash, so just emptied his bag there and then. As a result of his extra t-shirts, jumpers, trousers and the shoes poking out of his pockets, the 32-year-old ended up being asked a few extra questions at security. But he managed to get through along with his girlfirend.
