It seems that announcing your engagement by posting a picture of a diamond ring on Facebook with a caption reading "She said yes" just isn't enough anymore.
At least it wasn't for one newly-engaged Canadian couple, who went on a hike in the Canadian Rockies for an engagement shoot.
On their hike Kelin Flanagan and Spencer Taubner searched for the perfect location, with Kelin even falling into a lake at one stage.
Thankfully, it was all worth it when they found a spot that had some squirrels running around it.
Little did they know that one of the squirrels would become the star of the photo, while eating a small snack.
“Spencer and I were really focused on taking a nice romantic photo when one squirrel popped his head up,” Kelin said about their amazing photo.
Thankfully, the squirrel only made the day better, with Flanagan saying: “Between that and the squirrel, I don’t think I could have had a more entertaining photo shoot day,” she said.
So maybe engagement shoots aren't such a bad idea after all.
