This is bizarre.
Last week's eclipse, which was clearest in the States, was showcased in all it's glory on our TV screens and on social media.
We saw American's don their special eclipse glasses to protect their eyes from the sun, but according to Fox News, a health professional in California reported cases where people had put sun cream in their eyes to protect their eyes from the glare. (?)
The Sun newspaper also says hospitals have been treating patients who used this (bizarre) method to watch the spectacle.
