Thrifty eBay sellers are flogging the cardboard tubes from toilet roll, and people are actually buying them.
There are hundreds of listings on the auction site.
The used toilet roll tubes are advertised for uses including arts and crafts, gardening (you can plant seeds in them), and for pets (hiding dog treats in and as a toy for your hamster).
It's good to know you can make a few quid selling your toilet roll tubes if you find yourself broke coming up to pay day.
