It's alleged that the news presenter and head of news and current affairs Jon Williams had a row on the night of the crucial no-confidence vote in Theresa May earlier this month.
The RTE news presenter told Extra.ie.
‘Arising out of events last week, I initiated a formal grievance procedure with RTÉ.
Until the matter is dealt with through the appropriate channels, it would be very unwise for me to comment.'
Sources believe that the row began when the presenter objected to Six One News presenter Caitríona Perry, co-anchoring the nine o’clock bulletin from Westminster, on the night of the crucial Conservative party vote.
Ní Bheoláin hasn’t presented the nine-news since, although she anchored Crimecall on Monday and Leaders’ Questions on Wednesday.
