Good news for commuters in the east of the country, as the N7 roadworks in Co. Kilare are due to finish in April.
The roadworks have been ongoing for over a year, affecting approximately seventy thousand people daily.
The works are widening the stretch of road on the M7 between the M9 Interchange and Junction 8 Johnstown.
For 14km, the speedlimit has been reduced to 60 kilometers per hour, meaning delays have been consistent during rush hours and busy commuter periods.
Although, speed reductions may still be in place while a new interchange connecting the M7 to Naas is being constructed.
