Cleanser, toner, serum, eye cream, moisturiser - it has to be said that most Irish men are baffled by women's skincare regimes.
On the other hand, if a man partakes in a bit of grooming he's slated as vain.
We knew that Irish men weren't too familiar with self-care but we thought their American brothers would be. Not so, it seems.
A journalist in the US spoke to several men for a male publication to learn more about their skincare routines, and it's pretty shocking.
Amanda Mull interviewed the men for Mel Magazine.
33 year old Barry admitted: "The only thing I use regularly is body wash in the shower every morning (including on my face). Outside of the shower, I will wash my face only if it feels particularly dirty or greasy — with hand soap if I’m in my bathroom or dish soap if I’m in my kitchen."
To be clear, dish soap is washing up liquid. What?!
47 year old Charles revealed: "I do nothing — I don’t even wash my face."
32 year old Tyler only washes a very specific portion of his face: "I use bar soap on the sides of my nose in the shower. Mostly because of blackheads. I picked that because it seemed simple and cheap."
When Amanda asked a man named Ben if he exfoliates, he said: "I vigorously brush my beard and a lot of skin falls out, so yes?"

Eww! Wash your face, lads. Not with Fairy Liquid. And moisturise!
