Mark Cunning is iRadio's new Chief Executive Officer.
iRadio has today announced that General Manager & Content Director Mark Cunning is now the Chief Executive Officer of the company.
Speaking in relation to this morning’s announcement, recently appointed iRadio Chairman Willie O’Reilly said ‘I am delighted the board have appointed Mark as CEO of iRadio.
Mark’s promotion to the role of CEO is a reflection of the passion and commitment he has brought to in role as General Manager.’
Mark Cunning joined iRadio prior to its 2008 launch as part of the daytime line-up, before moving into programming as Head Of Music.
In 2015 he was promoted to the role of Programme Controller and in 2017 following the resignation of the then CEO Leigh Doyle, Mark was promoted to the roles of General Manager and Content Director.
Commenting on the appointment Mark said ‘I’m delighted that the board have put their faith in me to lead the company at this crucial time as we set out the road map for our future.
