Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has said they're not secretly listening to our conversations.
Conversations with friends about a particular trip away/ band you like/ jumper you like have made many us feel as though we're being listened to, as often these products begin appearing as ads in our news feeds.
Senator Gary Peters asked Zuckerberg point blank if the conspiracy theory is true and he replied no. "Let me be clear on this. You are talking about the conspiracy theory passed around that we listen to what is going on on your microphone and use that. We do not do that".
