Road Runner's arch rival, Wile E. Coyote, is getting his own movie.
The doomed but beloved Looney Tunes character will star in the upcoming Warner Bros. animated film, Coyote Vs. Acme.
According to Variety, the comedy will be written by the Silberman siblings (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) and produced by the director of The Lego Batman Movie, Chris McKay.
Looney Tunes films are few and far between - the last one was 2003's 'Looney Tunes: Back In Action' preceded by 1996's 'Space Jam'.
It'll be interesting to see if Wile E. Coyote finally catches Road Runner when Coyote Vs. Acme hits cinemas.
