A Canadian technology company is bringing 150 new jobs to Galway.
SOTI, a technology company, makes software for managing mobile and "internet of things" devices.
€20 million will be invested, with the company already in the process of hiring 50 people locally; the remaining 100 roles are expected to be filled over the next three years.
With 10 offices globally, the company also said it expects to exceed 1,000 employees worldwide by the end of 2018.
In a statement, SOTI President and CEO, Carl Rodrigues said “Ireland forms an integral part of our long-term growth strategy, as it has developed an excellent reputation for being a technology-based economy, home to a vast array of tech companies – from giant multinationals, to new start-ups."
“Galway is already home to many Fortune 500 companies, making it a particularly attractive destination to source experienced development and sales talent,” he added.
