IRELAND’S TOP 10 DESTINATIONS HAVE BEEN REVEALED BY TRIPADVISOR

Tripadvisor has announced the winners of its Travellers' Choice Awards, with the West and Northwest making up HALF of the top ten.

Dublin was named Top Destination, ahead of Killarney, while Galway was in third place.

Sligo, which was voted 9th best destination, won the title of Ireland's Best Value Destination.

The capital has come out on the world stage, ranking 22nd in Tripadvisor's Top 25 European Destinations.

London was named the Best Global Destination.
