Highly-anticipated movie Dublin Oldschool is out in cinemas Friday, June 29th.

The Irish film is an adaptation of Emmet Kirwan's sell-out play, which is loosely based on real events.

Dublin Oldschool also stars Kirwan, along with Ian Lloyd Anderson and Seana Kerslake.

It centres on two estranged brothers who reconnect one weekend in the capital.

Jason, a wannabe DJ, stumbles from one session to another. Daniel is a heroin addict and is living on the streets.

Garry and Fionnuala caught up with director and co-writer Dave Tynan to chat about the movie, which is both humorous and bleak.
