iPhone users have been freaking out since Apple launched its new operating system on Tuesday.
iOS 11 comes with a feature called screen recording, which allows you to easily record whatever is on the screen of your iPhone.
Many users have been worrying that this means people will be able to secretly record their Snapchats without their knowledge.
Pretty understandable! The fear!
iRadio got in touch with Snap Inc., the firm behind Snapchat, and a spokesperson told us the app will alert users if it detects that a screenshot or screen recording with the iOS 11 tool has been taken.
These notifications will also name the Snapchat friend who has screenshot or recorded the Snap.
Yes! Thank feck for that!
However, Snapchat might not be able to detect a screen recording if the user taking the recording isn't on the latest version of the app.
So to be safe, Don't send any snaps you don't want ending up on your Facebook wall when it's your birthday ;)
