Commuters in a Canadian city are in for a treat.
People in Vancouver will no longer find the daily commute stressful as they'll be soothed by the dulcet tones of one of Hollywood's biggest stars.
Morgan Freeman is to voice announcements on TransLink, Metro Vancouver’s public transit system.
It's for a short time only - just the summer - but we're already thinking of booking flights to hear Morgan's serene voice greeting us on a train
The collaboration came about due to Morgan’s long-time association with Visa.
The 80 year old actor will notify travellers of TransLink’s new tap-to-pay feature. He'll also be heard making more standard announcements about transport etiquette.
Announcements include:
"Hello bus riders. This is a smoke-free bus, but I’m sure you already knew that. What you might not know, however, is that you can now tap your Visa to go anywhere TransLink takes you. Have a great day."
"Hello transit riders. Remember what your mom used to say: Please keep your feet off the furniture. And also remember: You can now tap your Visa to go anywhere TransLink takes you."
