Some genius over at Metro figured this out. Are you someone who likes to get in ahead of your work mates and book in time off before others can? Then this might be for you. Take an extra long break at Easter time next year, with minimal days off from your annual leave allocation!
You get 18 days off, and only need to take 9 days from work. NICE. Here's how it works:
Good Friday is April 14th. Easter Monday is April 17th. TheN the May Bank Holiday falls on Monday May 1st...
So you could finish up on April 13th, and return to work on Tuesday May 2nd.... but only take 9 days off work.
Ok we're assuming you get Good Friday, Easter Monday and the Bank Holiday off (sorry retail and shift workers!!!!)
But for the rest of you, apply to your HR manager for these days off today!
