With no end to this heatwave in sight, Irish people are being urged to conserve water.
Irish Water are urging people to conserve water wherever possible.
They also warn that supplies could be restricted until Autumn time, following the drought the country has been experiencing.
The ban is in place across Dublin and it's expected it will be extended to counties Laois, Kilkenny, Limerick, Kerry, Galway and Waterford this week.

Irish Water is also appealing for the public to report leaks on the public water network and to repair private leaks in homes and businesses.
The "Water Conservation Order" is currently in place until July 31st, but Irish Water say they will keep the situation under "review".
Their website outlines that the prohibited use will apply to the use of water drawn through a hosepipe or similar for the purpose of:
- watering a garden
- cleaning a private motor-vehicle using a domestic hosepipe
- cleaning a private leisure boat using a hosepipe
- filling or maintaining a domestic swimming or paddling pool (except when using hand held containers filled directly from a tap)
- filling or maintaining a domestic pond (excluding fish ponds) using a hosepipe
- filling or maintaining an ornamental fountain (with the exception of such use for commercial purposes)
- use of water for filling or replenishing an artificial pond (excluding fish ponds), lake or similar application.
Those found in breach of the hosepipe ban could face a fine of €125.
