Here's what happened at the 'Drive Thru Ash Wednesday' this morning!

We reported last week how a church in Co Galway was operating a unique way for parishioners to receive Ash, the story is here.

RTÉ visited Glenamaddy Church this morning to see how it went and captured some footage below. Parishioners can indeed receive Ash the traditional way at Mass this evening, but for those who are too busy to attend, the Pastoral Council came up with this novel idea.
