Childish Gambino Wins 3 Grammys - no show at Grammy Awards

The Grammy awards had some notable absences last night including Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year winner - Childish Gambino (also known as the talented Donald Glover) - who also reportedly declined the invitation to perform at the Grammys.

 

Ariana Grande - another no show

Ariana also boycotted the awards last night, reportedly after having a falling out with the producer of the awards ceremony as they clashed over which songs Ariana could perform. Grande did not let this stop her from trolling the awards in spectacular fashion, much to the delight of her fans which she posted this picture of the gown she would've worn to the awards.

 

Cardi B makes Grammy History

Rapper Cardi B fought to hold back the tears after becoming the first female rapper in history to win Rap album of the year. Watch her acceptance speech below;

 

Michelle Obama Makes A Surprise Appearance

Another major surprise at last night's awards was Michelle Obama who made a surprise appearance when she joined host Alicia Keys alongside Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez much to the delight of the crowd.

 

 

Other notable mentions go to Lady Gaga who blew the crowd away with her performance of 'Shallow' which is taken from the movie 'A Star Is Born' and Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus also paid tribute to Dolly Parton in a medley dedicated to the Queen of Country.
