Pop icon, Bruno Mars cleaned up at this year's Grammys - after he won all six awards that he was nominated for: Album and Record of the Year for “24K Magic” and Song of the Year for “That’s What I Like;” Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song for “That’s What I Like.”
“24K Magic” was also awarded Best Engineered Album (Non-Classical) and Best R&B Album.
During the awards ceremony, Cardi B got with superstar Bruno Mars to deliver a blistering performance of the remix to Mars’ New Jack Swing-era "Finesse Hit" which electrified the crowd. Cardi held her own with Bruno and the rest of the colorfully-dressed dancers against the early 90’s-themed backdrop.
Kendrick Lamar was the night’s second biggest winner, picking up five Grammys starting with his first of the night for Best Music Video for “Humble,” which also won Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance. Soon after, he won during the telecast for Best Rap/Sung Performance for “Loyalty” featuring Rihanna.
The big shock of the night, Rapper Jay-Z who was nominated for eight grammys ended up losing the awards in every category. Jay-Z actually had the most nominations at the 2018 show out of all of the artists.
