A goat has been arrested in India for "raiding" a judge's garden.

The animal, a "repeat offender", is accused of jumping over an iron gate and grazing in a district magistrate's vegetable patch.

It happened last week in the central state of Chhattisgarh.

According to a police report, the goat ate plants, flowers and vegetables.

It's been booked under charges that carry a two-to-seven-year prison term and a fine.

The animal appeared in court and was later granted bail.

I kid you not!
