Galway City Ballybane is "seriously littered"- Good news for Athlone, how did your town/ city do?

Some litter blackspots have shown no improvement in the last three years.

Good news for Athlone: the town came in second position

Irish Business Against Litter says some urban areas of Dublin, Cork and Galway are persistently littered.

Their Anti-Litter League results show Fermoy and Waterford crowned the cleanest town and city in Ireland.

There was good news Athlone, Sligo, Naas, Drogheda, Longford and Castlebar, with all of these among the top 12.

The city centre, the North Inner City and Ballymun are the worst areas for litter in Dublin.

On the other hand, Tallaght, Dun Laoghaire and the areas around Dublin Airport are the cleanest in the city.
