After an unusually mild Christmas and New Years' in Ireland, temperatures are set to plunge here this week.
According to Met Eireann, temperatures are set to drop to between zero and plus 2 C tonight. It'll remain dry and largely cloudy.

Patches of mist and drizzle are expected tomorrow, with afternoon temperatures hanging between 5 and 10 degrees.
Ground frost is expected tomorrow night, with lowest temperatures ranging bwteen minus 1 to plus 4 degrees.
Friday night's looking nippy too, especially in north and east regions. Temperatures then are predicted to fall to between minus 1 and plus 3 degrees. Frost is due to form under clear spells too.
The weekend's looking good - bright and sunny conditions in the "east and north to begin, but cloudier conditions in the west and south will gradually extend to all parts by the afternoon. Most places will be dry with just isolated drizzle patches", say Met Eireann.
It's not expected to be AS cold on Saturday night: current indications predict lows of 2 to 6 degrees.
