Aer Lingus have celebrated Interational Women's Day in brilliant fashion by having an all female crew on board EI 162 chick took off from Dublin at Midday bound for London Heathrow.

The flight Captain was Louise Gilroy, and First Officer Amy Cunningham assisted on the flight deck. The on board staff also consisted of Cabin Crew Lisa Carty, Aisling Farrelly, Fiona Power and Laura Labuschagne.

Other non-on board staff were also all female, including Guest Service Agents Megan Emmet and Marina Casadidio. Aer Lingus have over 2,000 female employees across all areas of the airline.
