We don't know about you, but we can suffer from terrible FOMO from time to time.

Running low on funds mid-month and missing that big night out with the boys/ having work commitments and missing out on that festival, you know what we're talking about... that overwhelming sense of being left out sucks.

FOMO isn't a myth:  A study has found that 48 percent of college freshmen in the US believed that their friends had made more friends than they had.

Social media does not help...

Many people are left feeling like others have more interesting lives, more friends, eat better food, travel more etc.

Although we all joke about having FOMO, it can be more serious too. The danger of FOMO is it's leads to people feeling isolated and lonely, even if it's not true. Researchers say "The important thing may be to understand that you're not alone in these feelings".

If you ever feel alone, you can contact Samaritans any time on 116 123 (ROI)
