Ah here! HB, we're not going to fall for this!
The nation's favourite ice-cream is reportedly set to undergo a makeover.
HB Ice Cream says we've been mispronouncing the Iceberger for years, and they've now decided to relaunch it with a brand new name and shape.
The Iceberger will now be known as 'HB IceBURGER' and will be in the shape of a burger.
Right...
A spokesperson on behalf of HB said:
"Irish people have been misspelling and mispronouncing the term Iceberger for half a century now. As such, we’ve listened to our customers and believe it’s time to not only change the spelling, but also the shape – a decision which should resonate well with burger lovers too."
We'd totally fall for this if it wasn't for the fact that HB pulled a similar stunt last year.
They company it was discontinuing the Iceberger and people on social media lost the plot, only to realise the date and discover that they had been the victim of a cruel prank.
