The forecast isn't the most promising...
According to preliminary forecasts from Met Éireann, Christmas Eve is set to be ''mild and mostly dry with outbreaks of rain later in the west and north in freshening southerly winds.''
While the big day itself will be: ''unsettled with a spell of rain likely and turning cooler with frost overnight.''
'I'm dreaming of a spell of rain and some light frost...'
Doesn't have quite the same ring to it as 'White Christmas,' does it?
But hey, snow just gets in the way anyway!
