Yoga has literally gone to the dogs!
You can now take part in the ancient practice with your pooch.
Doga is a new exercise trend promoting a healthy lifestyle for you and your dog.
Just like yoga for humans, doga helps improve your pet's posture and leaves them feeling happy.
You do the poses with your dog in class, which gives you the chance to bond with your furry friend.
It's making headlines as a New York vet is offering free doga classes to her clients.
Dr. Danni Shemanski teaches the classes at Hilton Vet Hospital in the Rochester area. Dr. Shemanski says we often forget how much time our dogs spend alone, which can contribute to stress and anxiety.
"So many behavioral issues come from attention seeking behaviours so this is a great way that both the owner and the dog can benefit."
The classes are free but Dr. Shemanksi hopes participants will consider donating to a local animal shelter instead.
This gives a whole new meaning to the yoga pose 'downward-facing dog'!
