These designs are pretty hair-raising!
The average human loses a lot of hair every day - between 50 and 100 strands.
If you've long hair, you'll notice these hairs everywhere - on your bedroom floor, on your clothes, clogging up your shower drain, in your car, and sometimes even on other people!
A design student in the UK thinks binning these strands is a waste and is weaving them together to create a range of items - including a bra, a skipping rope and shoe laces.
Lydia Hunt, a final year student at Goldsmiths in London, was inspired after discovering a pair of her grandmother's 70 year old plaits.
She then designed and made a spindle to create a tea cosy using her granny’s hair.
Speaking to the Metro, the 22 year old said she wants to "revitalise our everyday discarded hair" and make use of it in a "meaningful way:
"The formula is intended to show people what they could make with the hair they lose on a daily basis. For example, in May of this year, I carded 987cm of hair which is enough to make an egg cup."
Would you wear or eat out of one of these designs?!
