Kristen Jerkins and Joe Dobrin of Nashville probably never thought Tom Hanks would respond to the wedding invitation they sent him. Surprise! He did.
Jerkins told her Facebook followers that Hanks is one of her favorite people so she and sent him a wedding invite with a note attached hoping he could make it to the ceremony.
Hanks replied to the invite and note with an autographed picture and a note of his own. Hanks said he had other commitments so he can't attend the wedding but he did invite the couple to see a play he'll be in this June.
The couple should be able to make it. The wedding is May 5th.
