This has been confirmed by Dublin's Lord Mayor, Nial Ring.
The Pope is in Ireland later this month and over 500,000 people are expected to attend his closing mass at the Pheonix Park.
Some families will have to be moved out of their emergency accommodation during the visit, according to Dublin's Lord Mayor.
The visit has raised concerns for several homeless advocates, with many hotels that are usually used for emergency accomodation expected to be packed out with touritsts.
The Lord Mayor hopes that the number of homeless families displaced will be minimal and hopes that alternative housing can be sourced.
