Phew!
Texter regret - we've all experienced it.
But it may no longer be a thing thanks to WhatsApp's extension of its 'unsend message' function.
The app's latest update for iOS gives you an hour to delete messages after you sent them.
WABetaInfo's noticed that the latest version of WhatsApp lengthens the 'delete for everyone' option from 420 seconds (seven minutes) to 4,096 seconds (one hour, eight minutes and 16 seconds).
A new WhatsApp for iOS update (2.18.31) is available on AppStore.
It is a bug fixes update, but it has the new “Delete for everyone” limit, that’s 1 hour, 8 minutes and 16 seconds.— WABetaInfo (@WABetaInfo) March 8, 2018
There's no word yet on when the update will be rolled out for Android systems.
