We're a nation of jokers, that's for sure!

People are stocking up as The Beast from the East approaches.

Photos of empty shelves and fridges in supermarkets are going viral, with shoppers in the capital and beyond squirrelling away bread and milk in particular.

Of course, a few jokers have taken the mick out of the mass panic and are selling bread on Done Deal for astronomical prices.

There's a loaf of Pat The Baker for sale in Virginia in Cavan for €1,500. However, there is a litre of milk thrown in for free.

Seems...eh reasonable, no?

In Cork, there's a loaf of Brennan's bread for sale in Bandon for €150 euro. The description claims it's the "last slice pan in the country".

While in Dublin, there's a Storm Emma essentials kit up for grabs for the not too excessive price of €20.

How much would you pay for a loaf of bread if it was the last loaf in the country?!
