Gardaí appeal for information after man's body found in Dublin

Gardaí are anxious to speak to anyone who was in the Hampton Square area this morning.

It's following the discovery of the body of a man in his home in Hampton Square, Navan Road, Dublin 7 at approximately 9.30am.

Gardaí are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the discovery.

The man's body was taken to the Mater Hospital - a post mortem will take place tomorrow which will determine the course of the investigation.

Gardaí wish to speak to anyone who was in the area this morning between the hours of 7am and 9.40am and who may have seen anything suspicious.
