A thrifty couple in the UK are urging more people to opt for budget weddings after they held their reception in their local KFC.
Edward and Cherish Simms say they spent less than £100 to feed their 40 guests after tying the knot in a registry office.
The pair from Worcester in the West Midlands are mad about the fast food chain, eating there once a week.
Cherish claims their guests weren't shocked that their reception was in KFC:
"When the guests saw on the invite that the reception would be there, they weren't surprised at all, they know what we are like.
We got in touch with the manager, who thought it was a bit strange, but was willing to give it a go for us."
They had the restaurant to themselves and say the staff "went to town" with the decorations:
"They really managed to make our day special. It was great value for money and we wanted to spend more money on our honeymoon instead.
I recommend it to everyone, why not have something a bit different."
