A UK bakery chain has apologised for using a sausage roll instead of Jesus in a nativity scene.
A spokesperson for Greggs has said it's sorry to have caused any offence and that that was never its intention.
The photos were to promote the chains new Advent calendar and it depicts the three wise men looking down at a sausage roll instead of Jesus.
Some saw the lighter and funnier side of the promotion, others weren't so happy with some calling for people to boycott Greggs.
Only in England would there be an issue where Greggs have to apologise for replacing baby Jesus with a sausage roll in an ad hahaha I love this country

Please boycott @GreggsOfficial to protest against its sick anti-Christian Advent Calendar. What cowards these people are: we all know that they would never dare insult other religions! They should donate every penny of their profits to @salvationarmyuk https://t.co/tAV7CRP7WM
