UPDATE: Met Eireann have spoken to us here at iRadio. They say it's too early to call how this storm will impact us. They believe it will hit the U.K and possibly the very South of Ireland. they don't predict it will be anything like Ophelia, but it's too early to say for certain. It also doesn't have a name yet, social media has christened it Storm Brian.
To reiterate; it's still very early days in terms of another storm system but will monitor closely & keep you updated if it progresses. pic.twitter.com/9Alzrd5A6E

Earlier..
Just as the country wakes to deal with the destruction and heartbreak ex- Hurricane Ophelia left behind, it seems another bad storm could be headed our way.
Deric Hartigan, TV3's weatherman, broke the news on Twitter this morning.
BREAKING: This is not good news. Currently developing for Friday/Sat. Similiar low pressure intensity as #Ophelia This is #StormBrian. pic.twitter.com/z0cjJKSe0T
