At least two people have been rescued from the rubble, but many online say that there is a huge amount of rubble left to search through.
The bridge in question was built in the 1960s and sent multiple vehicles plunging approximately 50m to the ground, according to reports.
The incident occured around 11.30am today during a violent storm.
Around 200 firefighters are responding to the incident and scrambling to find survivors.
