A new initiative in pubs and clubs in Cork to help people feel safe on a night out has been embraced.
The 'Ask For Angela' campaign is aimed at people who feel at risk - it provides a discreet way to seek help or support from staff and security in venues.
When someone approaches workers and asks for "Angela", workers in participating venues are trained to act accordingly.
It's hoped the scheme will soon be extended nationwide.
