...that's after a new study shows that 69.1 per cent of people who own an iPhone are likely to have a high income.
The National Bureau of Economic Research carried out the research, and authors Marianne Bertrand and Emir Kamenica said, "knowing whether someone owns an iPad in 2016 allows us to guess correctly whether the person is in the top or bottom income quartile 69 percent of the time."
"Across all years in our data, no individual brand is as predictive of being high-income as owning an Apple iPhone in 2016", they said.
Hmmm... we have iPhones and we're certaintly not rolling in it, and the study also doesn't seem to highlight the different iPhone models; we've all benefitted from a freebie when a friend gets their upgrade, haven't we?!
Anyway, even though our bank accounts don't agree, we can all dream, can't we?
