We'll put our hands up and admit that we were the first to get excited about the possibility of getting snow earlier this year.
You've been sending us your snow snaps from around the country.. see them here! ⛄️⛄️⛄️#snow #sneachta

But now that we've had a few glimpses of sunshine and nice evenings (Patrick's Weekend excluded, obviously) we're kind of ready to move on to a bit of heat and dryness. Sadly, we may have to put up with a few more days of snow, as Met Eireann has said we're in for a cold night tonight.
"It will turn cold quickly after dark with frost setting in early tonight. There will be fairly widespread showers too, with some falling as sleet and snow even at low levels."
The news isn't much better for tomorrow either.
"Tuesday will be a cold day. Some bright or sunny spells, but further sleet or snow showers in the morning, but most of these will turn to rain in the afternoon."
Might be time to take the winter coat back out so!
