"Enjoy the celebrations and look out for each other."
Over 62,000 students across the country have been collecting their Junior Cert results.
The results were given to students at their schools and will also be available online from 4pm.
47 pupils received top marks in 11 exams, with another 230 getting the highest possible grade in 10 subjects.
While there's been a broad satisfaction with the results, concerns have been raised in certain subjects.
In ordinary level maths, more than 1,400 students (around 6 per cent ) failed their exams.
11.8 per cent of students failed ordinary level French, while almost 10 per cent of higher level history students did not pass the exam.
Be proud of yourself no matter what
Students who are feeling disappointed are being reminded that the results don't define them.
Pieta House has tweeted: "Be proud and happy with what you have achieved."

"Make the most of your results night by staying safe and taking care of one another."
Students are being urged to celebrate sensibly and to look after each other.
Health experts are encouraging parents to talk openly to their children about alcohol and tonight's celebration plans.
A new report by Drink Aware has found that parents are the biggest influence on a young person's decision around drinking.
Parents are being advised to remind their children that they can call or text them if they feel unsafe or unwell at any point during the night.
While students are being told to stay with their friends and to look for help it it's needed.
