The filly escaped her stable and legged it to the nearest pub.
It actually happened - a horse walked into a bar.
However, staff and patrons at the establishment in the French town of Chantilly didn't get the joke.
Instead of laughing, they got up from their seats and ran for safety.
The young horse's trainer, Jean-Marie Béguigné, told Ouest France:
"Between the track and the stables, her rider fell off. The filly escaped by going on to the road, and crossing a roundabout before entering this bar. It is all quite exceptional."
CCTV footage shows people in the pub fleeing as the filly crashes through the building, kicking her hind legs in the air.
Thankfully, nobody was hurt and the horse was captured uninjured and returned to her stable.
