It's one of the most hotly anticipated nights in the Irish TV calendar and it's finally here - The Late Late Toy show.

It's a chance for adults to embrace their inner child in a show of dancing, laughing and, most importantly, toys.

If you plan on sitting down with Ryan Tubridy and co tonight, here's what you can expect.

The Theme

Continuing the trend of film themed shows, tonight's toy show will pay tribute to The Jungle Book.

The Set

We have no doubt that producers will pull out all the stops in creating the ultimate Jungle Book set. Viewers can expect the RTÉ studio to be transformed into a bright jungle complete with trees and a waterfall.

"It's just getting bigger and bigger every year. It's kind of out of control now," Ryan told Independent.ie.

The Opening Number

You can usually tell how epic a Toy Show ill be by its first song. Ryan's remaining tight lipped about what song it will be but he told The Mirror “This is one of the most ambitious openings we have ever had on the Toy Show – it’s big and bright and beautiful."

We're putting our money on Bare Necessities.

The Toys

Let's face it, this is what we're here for. We're hoping to see some of the top toys for this Christmas being demonstrated (and broken) like Skylanders Imaginators, Hatchimals, Nerf Modulues Tri-Strike Blaster and the Air Storm Firetek Bow... No, we have no idea what any of them are either.

The kids

Between singing, dancing and expert toy demonstrators, this year's Toy Show has a bigger cast of kids than ever before. This year over 320 kids will be part of the show. Some new legends are sure to be born.

Celebrity guests

Last year David Walliams and RTÉ weather legend Evelyn Cusack surprised and shocked some fans while the year before it was Ed Sheeran. It's nice when these surprises happen and this year is no different, as nobody seems to know which celebs are due to appear on the show.

How to watch

If you have a normal telly box you can see the fun unfold there. You can also watch it live on the RTÉ Player INCLUDING people living abroad.

Baz Ashmawy will host a new preview on RTÉ One's Facebook page from 8pm.

When and where?

The madness kicks off on RTÉ One at 9:35 and finishes at 11:55pm.
