Less people are planning holidays in Ireland

The drop in visitors has effected the tourism industry

There's been a drop of seven-point-one per cent in the number of overseas visitors coming to Ireland.

There were 688,600 trips to Ireland by overseas residents in November 2019, compared to 741,000 in November 2018.

Visits by people from the US and Canada to Ireland decreased by 9.5 per cent.

Meanwhile, the number of trips by Irish residents overseas increased by 7.6 per cent to 612,300.
