A 19-year-old man has been killed in a crash in Co. Wicklow, the third person to die on Irish roads in as many days.
The fatal incident occurred on Vale Road in Arklow at around 9.40pm last night, when a car hit a ditch near the site of the former IFI Fertiliser plant.
The victim was sitting in the front passenger seat.
The driver, an 18-year-old received non life threatening injuries.
The stretch of road is currently closed for a technical examination and local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
