Gardaí at Enniscorthy Co Wexford are investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at 7.25am this morning, at Ballymackesy, Co Wexford, approximately 4 miles from Enniscorthy.
A male driver in his 50s was fatally injured when his van was in collision with a truck.
The male driver of the truck was uninjured.
The victim has been removed to University Hospital in Waterford where a post mortem examination will take place.
The road is currently closed to facilitate a Garda forensic examination, local diversions are in place.
